We collect only what we need to reply to you.
This notice explains what personal information Tech 127 Pty Ltd collects through this website, who handles it for us, and how you can ask to see it, correct it or complain.
Tech 127 Pty Ltd and this notice
This website is run by Tech 127 Pty Ltd (“Tech127”, “we”, “us”), an Australian business. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This notice covers this website only. Maestro at maestrodevs.com is a separate website with its own privacy notice.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you.
- Request a demo form: the areas you want help with, your team size, your description of the task you want automated, your name, your work email and, if you choose to give it, your company name.
- Email: anything you send us at hello@tech127.com, including your email address and the content of your message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time) when you visit.
- Analytics, only if switched on and you consent: aggregate usage data such as pages viewed, referrer, approximate region and device type. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
We do not ask for sensitive information. Please do not put sensitive information, or personal information about other people, in the free-text box on the demo form.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange a demo or call.
- To work out whether and how we can help, and to prepare for that conversation.
- To keep a record of the enquiry.
- To understand how the website is performing and improve it, using aggregate analytics only when you have consented.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We contact you about your enquiry. The demo form does not add you to a mailing list. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Who handles it for us
We use a small number of service providers to run this website. Each handles personal information only to provide its service to us.
| Provider | What it does | What it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Formspree | Processes demo requests from the form and emails them to us | Everything you enter in the form, plus technical data such as your IP address | United States |
| AWS Amplify (Amazon Web Services) | Hosts this website | Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested | Sydney, Australia (ap-southeast-2) |
| Google Analytics (GA4) | Website usage analytics, only when switched on and you have consented | Aggregate usage data and cookie identifiers | United States and other countries where Google operates |
Disclosure outside Australia
Formspree, and Google Analytics when it is enabled, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Before disclosing your information overseas we take reasonable steps to make sure the provider handles it consistently with the APPs (APP 8), for example by limiting what we send to what the service needs.
By submitting the demo form you understand that your submission passes through Formspree in the United States on its way to us.
Cookies and analytics
By default this website sets no analytics cookies. Google Analytics (GA4) loads only when it has been switched on for the site and you have given consent. Until you consent, nothing is stored on your device for analytics.
We run no advertising, so we use no advertising cookies. If you prefer to opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on or your browser’s cookie controls.
Keeping it safe, and for how long
This website is served over HTTPS and form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access (APP 11).
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and manage the relationship, and for ordinary business records. When we no longer need information, and the law does not require us to keep it, we delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask us for the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong (APPs 12 and 13). Email hello@tech127.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first.
If something goes wrong
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email hello@tech127.com with the details. We will look into it and reply in writing.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
